All About the "LInks I Like" - post #1

Okay, I mentioned a couple of weeks ago that I was going to start reviewing the links I have under "Links I Like" in my right hand side bar.  I will basically tell you about them, why they are there, what I like and don't like, etc...

One of the first links is:  All Free Crochet
This one is self explanitory.  I haven't ever had much training in sewing past the 8th grade.  I know basics and am from the "Show Me" state and it is true I have to be shown.  I can't read a crochet pattern to save my life.  This site has some great tutorials.  You can download patterns and stuff for free too.  This site is for the novices and the talented crochet gurus.

Avon with Patty LaFlam
Again, self explanitory.  Avon has grown and changed so much.  I can remember going to deliver orders with my mom when I was 3 years old(for those of you who don't know, that was 40 years ago).  I also remember going to the company picnic when I was about 10, my mom went and worked in the distribution/ mid-america offices packing orders at night.  Now they have clothes and all kinds of things.  You can usually find codes on-line for free shipping, discounts, etc.  Great gift ideas, especially if you have little girls.

Fave Crafts goes along with All Free Crochet and Recipe Lion.
Fave Crafts offers free downloadable ebooks as well as elaborate craft kits that you can purchase.  Just looking at this site that is very well organized might give you ideas of projects to do.
Recipe Lion is an excellent resource as well.  You can look up and print all the recipes you want.  Comes in really handy when your family is just board with every starch or veggie dish under the sun.  They also have free downloadable ecookbooks.

Last on the review list today is Tupperware with Amanda Mills.
Like Avon, you have to have your own Tupperware Lady.  Well, at least that is what they were called in the "good ol' days."  Mom sold it, I sold it, have been to all kinds of parties for it.  Now it is at the mall or at your fingertips.  If you have that cup, bowl, what ever that you love and have had since the 1970's and it is missing it's lid or other part - remember you can usually get a replacement for it.  If you are just starting out or know someone who is getting married, ya gotta have some Tupperware.  I always use to love not only the cups and bowls but, the kids toys and the party gifts.

Well, that's it for today.  Don't feel you have to wait for me to review them for you to check them out, head on over to my side bar and click away.  Comeback soon and I hope to have another group of "Links I Like" reviews posted for you.  Enjoy.
