Fun Fun and it was Free/ Cheap!

Yesterday I missed posting. Back in April, one of our state's largest (home town) dairy's (Shamrock Farms) ran a catalina promotion through a (home town) grocery chain (Bashas). If you purchased 5 of their milk items in one transaction, you received a catalina coupon for a FREE family four pack tour. I got one, called and made a tour reservation on the last day they do tours before closing for the summer. 2 Adults and 2 Children free, paid $6 for 3rd child. It was very informative. Kids didn't think it lasted long enough. They wanted to go again or go back to certain parts. The tour lasts 1 hour. You tour the farm, the play area, the milking barn, view a video, go to the nursery and pet a baby cow in it's crib. Swat flies, and hear some interesting, if not eye opening information. Example: When our tour started there was a number 13 on the wall. The tour guide told us (10am) that the number represented the number of calves born since Midnight that day. That they average 24 births per day! That is busier than some maternity wards around here.
